December Wellbeing Challenge

Hello and welcome to December.

And just like that were in the last month of 2017. If you've been following along with us this year then you have already completed 11 challenges, some were easier than others and if you've somehow missed them all then not to worry we have a brand new set of challenges waiting for you to try in 2018.

But before we get ahead of ourselves we still have Decembers wellbeing challenge - The reading challenge.

Its winter, the weather is cold what better than to have a reading challenge where you can cosy up with your duvet or next to the fire (if you have one) with a nice hot drink and be transported to another world all within the comfort of your living room.

  • You can pick one book you aim to read In 31 days
  • If you're feeling adventurous or you’re an avid reader maybe try reading 31 books in 31 days.

For those that say they hate reading, I challenge you by saying I think you just haven’t found the right book.
Books come in all different types of genres and length. Try thinking of the types of movies you like to watch and look for a book in that genre. Alternatively, think of the things that interest you in everyday life and find a book on it. Start small and then work your way up. As with all of the challenges we have had this year its not about competition but about figuring out where you are and challenging yourself to step a little further out of your comfort zone.

If your finding reading in the traditional sense difficult why not opt for reading it along with the audiobook or simply reading a newspaper or magazine. Share what you have read with those around you.

Have a look at the suggestions below if you’re not sure what to read
