For over 20 years, Phase Hitchin has been helping young people build resilience, strengthen wellbeing, and discover who they are created to be. We work across schools, churches, and the community — empowering young people to thrive.

And right now, we’re growing! We’re looking for two exceptional people to join our team and play a key role in shaping the next chapter of our story.

Operations & Engagement Manager

Part-time (25 hours/week) | Hitchin-based | £18,500–£20,000 pro rata

We’re looking for someone brilliantly organised, proactive and people-focused — the kind of person who loves juggling variety and bringing order to organised chaos!

You’ll help keep the wheels of Phase turning: managing operations, supporting fundraising, coordinating volunteers, and making sure our amazing donors and supporters feel valued. You’ll work closely with the Director to ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly — from systems and safeguarding to prayer gatherings and team retreats.

If you’ve got an eye for detail, a heart for people, and a knack for keeping lots of plates spinning, this is your moment.

Youth Engagement Worker

Full-time | Hitchin & surrounding areas | £23,850–£25,500 + pension

This is an exciting hands-on role for someone who’s passionate about seeing young people thrive. You’ll be part of the team delivering wellbeing sessions in local schools, building relationships through mentoring and after-school programmes, and even helping to shape creative content for social media.

No two days will be the same — one day you’ll be leading a session in a classroom, the next you might be creating a TikTok clip, or chatting with young people in the park. It’s a role full of purpose, creativity, and growth.
